Key takeaways
- The ad account, billing, conversion tracking and call numbers should all be in your clinic's name, with the manager given access.
- Good management splits full removal, fading for cover-ups and packages into their own campaigns, each with a page that shows size-based pricing.
- Ad copy has to stay clear of medical claims and within Google's healthcare policy.
- Ask for reports in consultations held, packages started and cost per new client.
Google Ads management for a tattoo removal clinic means someone builds and runs the campaigns, reads the search terms, writes ads that stay within policy, and reports what the spend produced in booked consultations. Done properly, all of it happens inside an ad account registered to your clinic, so the history and data stay yours whoever runs it.
What management includes
- Campaigns split by service: full laser removal, fading for cover-ups and multi-session packages each get their own ad group, plus a small campaign on your own name.
- Keywords in client language and a negative list that keeps out cream, kit, training, job and tattoo-shop searches, reviewed weekly. The keyword guide for tattoo removal clinics shows the starting point.
- Ad copy that leads with the consultation and size-based pricing, with no promises about session counts, pain or results, written to Google's healthcare and medicines policy (Google's policy).
- Landing pages for each service that show price ranges, how sessions are spaced, what happens at the consultation, and a booking button.
- Conversion tracking for calls, forms and booked consultations, with call tracking tied to each campaign (call tracking).
- Budget pacing by month, heavier ahead of January and graduation and job-search season, lighter in between.
- An ad schedule matched to your front desk, with after-hours clicks sent to online booking.
- One test a month: a headline, a page or an offer, so you know what caused a change.
Who owns what in a managed account
| Part | You own | We do |
|---|---|---|
| The account | Opened in your business name | Work in it as a user |
| Billing | Charged to your payment method | Recommend budgets |
| Changes | Every change visible in the account | Build, test and adjust campaigns |
| Results | History that stays with you | Report calls, booked jobs and cost per customer |
Who should own the account
Your clinic should own the Google Ads account, the billing and every tracking asset; the manager should only have access. Ownership is not paperwork. It is the record of which searches turned into clients, and you need it more than any agency does.
| Asset | Whose name it belongs in | What you lose if it is not yours |
|---|---|---|
| Google Ads account and billing | Your clinic | Every search term and conversion since launch |
| Conversion actions and site tags | Your account, your website | The link between a search and a booked consultation |
| Call tracking numbers | Your account | Numbers clients saved, and the call history behind them |
| Landing pages | Your domain | The pages the ads have been tested on |
| Analytics property | Your clinic's login | Traffic history across every channel |
| Business Profile link | Your profile | Location details shown in your ads |
If a past agency built your account under its own login, ask for admin access transferred to your clinic before anything else. Starting a fresh account throws away the data that says which searches start packages, usually right before the January rush.
How we report
We report consultations booked, consultations held, packages started and cost per new client, by campaign, every month. We match leads to your med spa or clinic booking platform to get those numbers, because Google Ads alone cannot see who showed up (how conversion measurement works).
Each report also lists the work done: search terms blocked, tests run and their results, and the next priority with a date. There is no deck of impressions. If a campaign brings calls but no consultations, the report says so and says what we will change.
How it works
- Assess. We review your account, search terms, landing pages and a month of call notes, and check who owns each asset.
- Prioritize. We pick the fixes that lower cost per booked consultation fastest, usually tracking, negatives and the pricing page, and put a date on each.
- Execute. We make every change in your account under our own manager login, so the change history shows who did what and when.
- Measure. Each month we match leads to your booking calendar, count consultations held and packages started per campaign, and set the next season's budgets before January or graduation and job-search season begins.
How VETS Growth Marketing helps
Management starts with an ownership check: if any asset in the table above is not in your clinic's name, moving it back is the first dated task. From there we work in projects with outcomes and dates, with no long-term contract, and the monthly report counts booked consultations and packages, the numbers your laser schedule runs on. See how this fits the rest of your Google Ads work, or book a growth consultation and we will audit your account and tell you who owns what.
